Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hello there! My name is Max. I have a bit of a sad story. My mommy had to give me up because I nipped at someone and bit another. It wasn't a bad bite but enough for mommy to say she was going to have to put me down. One of her friends heard about this and contacted this rescue asking for help. They thankfully saved my life. They accepted me into their program. I am a great boy once I get to know someone. I am leery of new people that is why I MUST go to an experienced adopter. I am approximately 3.5 years old. I am a German shepherd/husky mix. I do well with most dogs but kitties and me do not mix. Blame that on the husky side of me! I am playful and love to sit and cuddle. I know how to sit, lay down, shake, stay....so as you can see I am very very smart. When you say "go home", I know exactly what to do. That means go into my kennel. Kids I probably should not be placed with. I ride wonderfully in the car and get very excited for car rides. I love to go for walks and walk wonderful on the leash. I should go to a home with a 6 foot high fenced in yard. I am a bigger boy who likes to roam and explore. So if you are experienced with a dog like me and can work on more training with me then I would LOVE to meet you! Hey, how about even just considering fostering me! Love always, Max.
