Facts about Mr. Bill

  • Breed: Catahoula Leopard Dog/Pit Bull Terrier Mix
  • Color: Merle
  • Age: Young
  • Size: Large 61-100 lbs (28-45 kg)
  • Sex: Male
Mr. Bill is remarkable and he's building a fan club wherever he goes. We dare you to try and forget his beautiful merle coat, light-reflecting pinwheel eyes or his adorable spotted nose - it simply can't be done. Add his smarts, his ability to flop over at any time for belly rubs, his frog leg stretch and his fun, cheerful attitude (you should see this goofball rolling in the snow and running around the yard with a bucket like he has struck gold) and you have one heck of a dog. We welcomed this 12 month old, 62 lb. Catahoula/Pitbull model into OMD Rescue after he sat in a high kill shelter for over two months! We still can't believe that we were the lucky ones who got to save him! Mr. Bill loves to play with female dogs his size, but can be selective with male dogs and small dogs. Mr. Bill is also looking for a forever family who will supply him with endless belly rubs, lots of cuddle time, a bottomless toy basket and daily exercise. If you would like to be the one to give this mesmerizing guy his dream home, please complete an adoption application from www.omdrescue.org as the first step.

About One More Dog Rescue (formerly RSHT)

About Our Rescue Group...

One More Dog Rescue, formerly Ruff Start Happy Tails, believes that animals deserve our love, compassion, and respect. Our purpose is to rescue dogs and to provide care for orphaned, stray, and abused dogs. Through rehabilitation, socialization, and adoption, we strive to provide a humane service to all dogs that come into our rescue. Additionally, we provide awareness about the prevention of animal abuse and neglect as well as spay/neuter programs and their important effect on the dog overpopulation crisis.

Come Meet Our Pets...

We are a Connecticut-based 501c3 dog rescue that will adopt to approved applicants in the surrounding areas.
We do not have a facility - All of our rescue dogs are in loving foster homes.

Our Adoption Process...

One More Dog Rescue (OMD), formerly Ruff Start Happy Tails, requires all potential adopters to fill out an adoption application and agree to a home visit prior to any adoption. Once the application is approved, a meet and greet will be scheduled between the potential adopter (s) and the dog. If the dog is adopted through One More Dog, an adoption contract must be signed, and we ask that a donation in the amount of $350.00 be made at the time of adoption to help our rescue cover a portion of the costs we incur through pull fees, vetting, and training.
