We are pleased to introduce you to Bubby!!! Not only is Bubby a beautiful dog, but Bubby is a very smart guy. He does really well in his kennel and he likes to be outside. Bubby loves to play and go on walks. He is working on his leash manners. Bubby is a higher energy dog so needs a home that can give him regular exercise. Bubby is a large dog at 75 pounds so he needs space to run and play. He also loves toys and he has the ability to make your heart melt when he looks at your with his big brown eyes. Bubby knows “sit” and with some training we think he will learn other commands. Bubby needs a strong pack leaders because he is smart enough to try to push on what he wants to do. He is very toy and treat motivated, so he can learn how to be a well-mannered boy. He gently takes treats when offered. Bubby is neutered, microchip, vaccinated and heartworm tested. He is only 5 years old. Bubby came to our rescue from the local animal control. We were happy to step up and help Bubby to keep him safe. He is now just looking for someone to come along and give him a safe place to sleep for the rest of his life. If you would like to meet Bubby, please complete an adoption application at ITVrescue.org.

About It Takes A Village Canine Rescue, Inc.

About Our Rescue Group...

It Takes A Village Canine Rescue, Inc. is a non-kill 501(c)(3) dog rescue dedicated to doing what it takes to find loving homes for stray, abandoned, and surrendered animals, and to keep these animals safe and free from further suffering. Our mission is "To work as one in helping homeless dogs irrespective of breed, location or circumstance." By working with committed volunteers, foster homes, local veterinarians, animal control, trainers, and boarding facilities, we are able to rescue countless animals every year and provide them with loving temporary care as we work to find them well-matched forever homes. Although we do not discriminate based on breed, size or color, we have a particular interest in bully breeds, black dogs and other hard-to-place dogs.

Come Meet Our Pets...

We are generally at Petsmart on Burkhart every Sunday and have adoption events at various locations throughout the year.

Our Adoption Process...

We require all adopters to complete an application and pay an adoption fee. Adoption fees vary, but are usually $150 to $175. We may do a vet reference check and/or home visit.
