"purr"mione's Story...
The wizarding world of Muskegon Humane would like to introduce Purrmione to you!

This sweet 2 year old found herself abandoned at our doorstep during the dog days of summer last year. To add insult to injury, not only was Purrmione abandoned, but it was also while she was heavily pregnant- imagine being days away from birthing 5 babies and being forced to spend the overnight hours in a tiny box, with no room to move or get comfy. Such was the early moments for Purrmione here.

As is often the case, mom is usually the last to find a loving home, and this sweet girl is finding that to hold true. If you are looking for a feline companion who is past the kitten antics, and knows her household manners, you should consider Purrmione! She loves to be pet and will quickly become a faithful companion to you each day.

Get to know Purrmione- stop out to the Chow Hound in Grand Haven and ask to visit with her today!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

"purr"mione, a Muskegon Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Muskegon, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Muskegon.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Muskegon already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Muskegon breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Muskegon paves the way for another one to be saved.
