ariel's Story...
ARIEL
10 year old Ariel is a sweet girl looking for someone to give her a second chance, after she was unceremoniously left at our doorstep during the overnight hours, without explanation. Hoping to put her past behind her, Ariel would like a home where she can relax in the lap of luxury...a loving owner to dote on her, stroking her soft silky fur each day, and offering her special treats to savour and enjoy.

Senior kitties all too often are among the last to be adopted in any shelter, as the younger and spunkier counterparts often steal the attention. But with responsible vet care, cats like Ariel can easily live well into their upper teens, which means Ariel still can enjoy many leisurely sunset evenings snuggled up with....you?

Why Adoption is a Great Option

ariel, a Muskegon Domestic Longhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Longhair for sale in Muskegon, or seeking a Domestic Longhair cat from a breeder in Muskegon.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Muskegon already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Muskegon breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Longhair breeders who help with Domestic Longhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Muskegon paves the way for another one to be saved.
