Approx. 4 year old JRT Mix Female

OVER 10 MONTHS IN FOSTER CARE

Big hearts come in small packages and we've got exactly that for you! Meet STARR, a 4.5 year old Jack Russell terrier mix with on e of the biggest hearts imaginable!

Crate trained and completely housebroken, this girl is an absolute catch for someone! She LOVES people and you can catch her snuggling on the couch. Cats are unknown and she would do best with kids over 12+ (just because she doesn't like her booty touched )

Starr had a rough go at life. She was mistreated by the people who were supposed to love her and they neglected her care. Starr has a condition of dry eye that is easily taken care of with the proper (inexpensive) medication. The future is unknown for her, but for now she is healthy, stable and just searching for a family!

She's been waiting months for a home and not one application has even come in. Please do not overlook this amazing dog- someone will be truly so lucky to have her and Starr will love you with all her heart

About Last Chance Animal Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

We provide adoption services in NY, NJ, CT, RI, NH, MA and ME.

Last Chance Animal Rescue is a Charitable, not -for profit organization, created to save the lives of animals. We rescue animals that are located in "KILL" facilities and underwrite the costs of relocating them to "NO KILL" facilities in hopes of finding them a forever family. We work with local veterinarians for spay-neuter/ medical services until permanent placement is secured into a pre-screened loving home. We depend on donations to continue to save these helpless loving animals from being killed and hope that you will consider supporting our cause..... saving as many lives as we can.

Our Adoption Process...

We require a completed application which is approved based on a review within 7 days. If approved a home visit is conducted and provided both parties agree to proceed with the adoption a donation of $250 (dogs over 6 months) and $350 (dogs under 6 months) is requested before the animal is placed in a new home. Please note that pets under the age of 6 months are not spayed/neutered. We require the adopter to provide proof that, at their own expense they have complered this procedure within a reasonable period after adoption.
