Bernadette is a spunky 7 month pup who is tenderhearted. She is medium size and we are not sure of her breed mix - she came from the Red Lake reservation, and our best guess is shepherd/spaniel mix. Bernadette is a high-energy girl who loves to play! Currently, She currently goes to doggie day care 3-4 times a week so that she has time to run and play with other dogs. She is a routine dog that needs to have schedule put in place. Once she knows her schedule, everything goes smoothly. Bernadette is house trained and currently undergoing crate training. She does best in a closed off room with her unlocked crate when her foster parents leave. To keep her entertained, she enjoys chew toys and peanut butter stuffed kongs. Bernadette would do really well with agility training because she enjoys chasing balls and running after sticks.

In the evening, Bernadette enjoys sleeping on the couch, snuggled up next to her foster parents. She has had a history of fence jumping, but her foster parents have not witnessed such thing. Just in case she gets too curious, Bernadette needs to be under supervision at all times when outside. Since Bernadette is very excited about eating, her foster parents feed her in her crate using a special bowl to slow down her eating. At night, Bernadette is used to sleeping in the bed with her foster parents.

Currently, Bernadette is living with two other German Shepherd mixes. If she doesn't go to doggie day care, she gets a lot of play time with the other dogs. She would love to find a home with another young, active dog to play with! Bernadette is still learning house manners and would not do well in a house with small children. When Bernadette gets excited, she likes to jump to say hello.

Overall, Bernadette is a joy and always super happy. She needs a family who will provide her lots of exercise (e.g. hiking, running, dog parks, day care). Come meet Bernadette at the next adoption event! She is ready to find her forever home.

Bernadette's adoption fee is $275, which includes vet exam, age-appropriate vaccinations and tests, microchip, and spay/neuter. Please note that we only accept cash or checks - no credit cards.

About All Dog Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

All Dog Rescue is an all-volunteer, foster home based rescue organization. We do not have a shelter and do not have any paid staff. Our dogs live in loving foster homes until they are adopted into their new forever homes. We offer a lifetime commitment to the dogs in our program. All of our dogs receive comprehensive vet work prior to adoption, including exam, vaccinations, microchip, HW/Lyme's test, fecal exam, and all are spayed and/or neutered. We do it because we love dogs, and with 4 million animals being euthanized every year in shelters around the country, the numbers of dogs needing our help is endless.

Come Meet Our Pets...

We hold public adoptions twice per month, and are often able to meet prospective families outside the events if need be.

Our Adoption Process...

The applicant must fill out a detailed adoption application (it is on our website), then is screened by an experienced volunteer. We charge adoption fees that are comparable to those of similar organizations in our area. The adoptive home must agree to and initial a list of regulations as well as complete a formal contract.
