Therm!  This pretty fella came in lost and sick.  After a few weeks in isolation and some meds he has become one of the most handsome cats in the shelter.  He was very timid when we first got him however now he seeks out the love and attention of visitors and enjoys it while they stroke his thick soft fur.  His pink nose is absolutely adorable and his big bright eyes look at you so sweetly.  He is most certainly appreciative of his second chance at life and he would love to have a chance at a new forever home.  Come cuddle with Therm and then if he is the right guy for you please go to our website at www.emmetcountyanimalshelter.org to apply we promise you won't be disappointed!

About Emmet County Animal Shelter

About Our Shelter...

The ECAS is an all volunteer, no kill shelter. Our mission is to rescue, rehabilitate and rehome pets in need due to neglect, abandonment, abuse or from simply not being wanted! We started in 2010 due to a need in our community. We are currently a foster based organization and we are currently building our new shelter facility. We work hand in hand with other rescue and shelters in the area to help out when and where we are needed.

Come Meet Our Pets...

Check out all of our pets online at www.emmetcountyanimalshelter.org or send in an application to meet a specific pet! Once our shelter is open for operation stop in during our open hours to visit with a fuzzy friend in person.

Our Adoption Process...

All interested parties must fill out an adoption application and be approved prior to adoption. If a family has currently, or in the recent past had pets then a veterinary reference is required. If not then two personal references are required. Our adoption fees for dogs range from $150-$300. Our adoption fee for cats is free will donation. After an adoption has been approved an adoption contract must be signed.
