Meet the total lovebug we call Nasir.  Rescued from a shelter, this kissy faced guy is as sweet and genuine as they come.  He has the cutest stumpy tail that wags like crazy when you give him love.  He loves people and just lights up to be around you.  Nasir recently had to have an eye removed, but he has adjusted well and is able to function as well as two eyed dogs.  He is one of those furbabies that once you spend time with him, you can't stop thinking about him and we know the lucky family that adopts him will wonder how they ever managed without him.  He's just *that* fabulous and *that* deserving of a loving furever family!  On top of it all, he has one of the cutest faces ever!  He's gorgeous and is all ready to go home.

This is what Nasir's advocate, Brooke, had to say about him: 'Nasir is the sweetest guy out there!  He loves to be cuddled and will sit on your lap all day long. He is low energy and will gladly spend the day relaxing with you! Nasir would do best in a household with other low energy dogs and humans.'

Nasir is a 'Constant Companion' when accessed using the ASPCA 'Meet Your Match' program. View the video here:

About Tiny Loving Canines (TLC)

About Our Rescue Group...

Tiny Loving Canines operates Ventura County's first and only full-time Rescue Center, open to the public 7 days/week in Simi Valley, CA.

We have the vision of a No-Kill generation, and our mission is to rescue, rehabilitate, and re-home the abandoned and neglected animals in our community. Our rescue acts as a needs-based safety net, allowing dogs maximum exposure for adoption at the county shelters, and saving their lives when they run out of time. We will do whatever it takes, within our means, to save a dogs life (unless it is illegal or immoral). TLC is proud to partner with Ventura County Animal Services in the march toward No-Kill in Ventura County!

Come Meet Our Pets...

Our Rescue Shop is located at 1736 Erringer on the 2nd Floor in Simi Valley, CA. We are open 7 days/week to showcase the dogs in our care. You can come visit our dogs and puppies Monday-Saturday from 12-7pm, and Sunday from 12-5pm.

Our Adoption Process...

Every dog and puppy that is adopted from TLC is spayed/neutered, brought up-to-date on vaccinations, and is microchipped. Adoptions also include a complementary wellness exam at Caring Hands Veterinary Hospital and a coupon book to use at Theresa's.

If you are interested in adopting one of our furbabies, the very first step is to complete an adoption application; this can be done either in person at our Rescue Center or online from the dog's profile. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask!
