My name is Barrett & I'm 4 1/2 years old & a big boy who weighs 95 lbs right now. I am a special boy as I am deaf. My previous owners dropped me off at the shelter and never looked back. It is believed that I lived outside due to the number of fly bites on my ears.
I am quite the gentleman and have great manners. I walk calmly on a leash, and I am house trained, crate trained and love a good car ride. I get along with dogs. But I do have a tendency to guard my toys & food sometimes. If I need to go out I will let you know by letting out a little whine.
Because I cannot hear, I would be best placed in a home without children as I should not be startled awake when sleeping. Also the doors leading outside should always be closed - if I were to get loose I could not hear you calling my name.
I would love a fenced in yard to play with new my family, humans and canines alike! I haven't stopped smiling since I was given a second chance. I am just loving life! Check out my videos below! EHR feels that I would do best with an experienced dog owner, so if you're looking for that "special dog", please check me out! I may have a few "quirks", but I will do my best to be a good boy for you!!
If you are interested in meeting me, please fill out an application and be sure to mention my name... Barrett!
