Marlo and Tyler are a shy, yet sweet, adult bonded pair. Marlo is a grey and white female with a “beauty mark”, and Tyler is a black and white male. They are looking for a mellow home where they can play with one another, receive some pets and scratches from their people, snooze in the afternoon, and generally enjoy the good life. Tyler quite enjoys jumping, and looking out the living room window, so his new home should be sure to supply him with a good cat tree and/or window perch to keep him satisfied; Marlo will surely appreciate it too. When Tyler’s not playing with Marlo, he also enjoys rolling around in the late afternoon sun, and keeps himself occupied by carrying his favorite mouse toy around the house.
Neither Tyler nor Marlo enjoy being picked up and held, but they do enjoy settling down next to you on the couch for some affection. Tyler, being a little more confident, will also happily follow you into the bathroom for some petting.
Cat Town is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, formed by long term volunteers from Oakland Animal Services (OAS) and other Bay Area shelters. We have partnered with OAS to take the cats who are least likely to do well in a shelter setting. NOTE: Some shelters have physical locations you can visit; some of these shelters may only have pets for a limited time, so please do not wait for a reply—just go visit the shelter! Other organizations are rescue groups run by busy volunteers who may take a while to reply. You can find information about the shelter or rescue group caring for this pet, and their adoption procedures, on the pet's details page on Adopt-a-Pet.com.
