Facts about Lark

  • Breed: Domestic Shorthair
  • Color: Black & White Or Tuxedo
  • Age: Young
  • Sex: Female
  • ID#: 9288903
  • Hair: Short

I’ve been waiting for my forever home since October 2015.

Lark is very sweet and affectionate kitty. She loves to hop into the laps of visitors to the shelter for attention. She would definitely fit the title of a “lap cat”. Once she knows you, she is extremely affectionate and loves to nap on your lap. She loves other cats and would make a great companion to another lonely kitty. Lark is young and playful but very mild mannered. Lark does not like loud noises so might do best in a home without small children.

Lark's mother, Amanda, is still available for adoption as well.
They are not required to go home together but do enjoy each other's company.
If you are considering adopting them both together, we would be willing to adopt them both under the "bonded cat discount".
This kitty is currently located at the
Cat Corner Shelter.

Address: 85 Fulton Street, Hampton VA 23663
Viewing Hours: Tuesday - Saturday from 10am to 2pm; Other by appointment

Applying to Adopt
Once you and your family have spent time with the cats in the adoption room and are ready to adopt,
please visit the adoption section of our website:
Our adoption process page will provide you with all of the information you need to know about adopting through our organization, including what to expect, what information we will require from you, and finding your purrfect match.

Thank You For Choosing to Adopt!!
As a no-kill rescue, we can only bring in and save more cats and kittens in need as our current cats and kittens are adopted. This is why we say that when you adopt one cat or kitten you are actually saving TWO lives! One is the current cat or kitten that you are adopting, the second is the one that we now have room to save and place into our safe shelter.
