Please meet Nala. Nala is a 4-5 year old female Boxer. She was found as a stray by Animal Control and taken to the shelter. She entered the shelter severely emaciated, and heart worm positive.The shelter quickly moved her into foster care so that she would have a better chance at gaining much needed weight. She now weighs 38 lbs and continues to gain. Nala is good with cats (she’s being fostered with two now) ,children and other dogs as long as the dogs are easy going, laid back dogs. Nala will let a dog know “nicely”, if it has too much energy for her. . She is very mild mannered and enjoys attention and car rides (she will either look out the window or fall asleep). She is potty trained and does not jump a baby gate. Her current foster baby gates her when she goes to work and Nala is content to stay in her area. Fassa’s Friends will be treating her for heart worm as soon as she arrives. Her current foster has stated on Fassa’s Friends Boxer Rescue, Inc.’s fb page that letting Nala leave her home will be difficult indeed….this is how sweet this little cutie is.
