Juno's Story...
Name: Juno
Breed: Domestic Short Hair
Age: Senior
Gender: Female

Juno is an 11 year old DSH cat who is being surrendered to a new home due to allergies in the house (person allergic to cat). She is spayed, not declawed but uses a cat tree to scratch, and very much at home settled comfortably in a lap. She is current on shots and just had a dental cleaning done. Juno lived with and loved a large male kitty prior, is uncomfortable with the other female cat in the home and hides. She's prefer being with a male cat or as an only cat, and is used to small dogs. She's perfect for the home wanting a mellow, well mannered, long and lean cat to sit on laps and cuddle.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Juno, a Minneapolis Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Minneapolis, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Minneapolis.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Minneapolis already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Minneapolis breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Minneapolis paves the way for another one to be saved.
