Heart's Story...
Heart is a 2-month-old male Border Collie mix puppy (breed history is unknown). His mom was found as a stray in a Northern community, and delivered 8 puppies 5 days later. Now that baby Heart and his siblings are old enough, they are looking for loving homes of their own. They have been getting well-socialized with children, other dogs, and cats, in their foster home. They love to play and are your typical large breed puppies.
Each puppy's adoption fee is $300 and includes their spay or neuter (once old enough - Spay and Neuter Agreement is mandatory), current vaccinations, current de-wormings, microchip, a leash, collar, and some food. Adoption forms can be found at www.cleoskarmacaninerescue.com and are required to be submitted prior to meeting the dogs.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Heart, a Duchess Border Collie/Shepherd (Unknown Type) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Border Collie/Shepherd (Unknown Type) for sale in Duchess, or seeking a Border Collie/Shepherd (Unknown Type) puppy from a breeder in Duchess.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Duchess already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Duchess breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Border Collie/Shepherd (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Border Collie/Shepherd (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Duchess paves the way for another one to be saved.
