My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Looking for a best friend? Tessa is your girl! She loves to have your attention and be treated like a princess (after all, she is a pretty lady. J ). She is a happy-go-lucky kind of gal.
She is a little bit shy around new situations, but with your love she will blossom into a social butterfly. In her earlier years, she had a scary accident (possibly hit or dragged by a car), that has made her a little shy for new environments. With your trust and patience, she will warm up quickly. She is a small terrier mix that would love to be carried around and spend her days with you.

She loves to play with small-medium size pups and is great with cats!

If you are interested in meeting Tessa, please go to our website and complete an adoption application at: www.lovewoof.org.

Adoption Process:
Once an adoption counselor receives and approves your application, they will contact you (only if you match the animal's needs) to set up an appointment to meet the dog you applied for and/or any of the other dogs in the rescue. If the dog you applied for is not a good match for your particular situation, there might be others that are better matches.

Adoption Fees:
The adoption fee for dogs under a year of age is $320 and $300 for dogs at least 1 year or older. Adoption fees allow WOOF Animal Rescue to continue to provide care and medical treatment (including spay/neuter services) for dogs while we look for their forever homes. The fees also helps cover the ongoing costs of caring for less adoptable dogs that require longer stays in the rescue, or more advanced medical treatment before finding their forever homes.

WOOF Animal Rescue, in Fremont CA, does not have a shelter, all of our dogs are raised in foster homes. Each dog comes spayed or neutered, up to date on vaccinations and rabies shots appropriate for their age, and dewormed, etc.
