Hi eberbody! My name is Joy and I will be 6 weeks old on Feb 3rd! I am a nearly all black puppy; I just have a few hairs on my chest that are white and a few toes as well. I am in the middle on size and I am sweet but think I am brave! I am kind of an adventurer, but love attacking my toys! I sometimes sleep in a corner on a soft blanket alone, but a warm lap is the best! I will be available for adoption soon and looking forward to meeting my forever family. (Date of birth 12/23/15)

Why Adoption is a Great Option

JOY-15-078, a Dallas Golden Retriever/Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Golden Retriever/Labrador Retriever for sale in Dallas, or seeking a Golden Retriever/Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Dallas.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Dallas already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Dallas breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Golden Retriever/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Golden Retriever/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Dallas paves the way for another one to be saved.
