Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Chip is a 3 year old, healthy neutered male. His owners told us that he was a Yorkie/Boston Terrier/ Pug cross but he is a big large and his coat is a bit wiry for us to think that there are no other breeds in there. He doesn't seem to shed much, whatever the breed mix. He has recently been neutered and a slight cheery condition fixed so he is ready to find his new family. Chip weighs about 18-20 lbs He is a very sweet friendly, loving pup who has the terrier disposition to activity so we are looking for an active home that can meet his need for speed. He can be calm within the home and loves to cuddle and play with toys although he can be a bit destructive with stuffed toys or soft rubber toys. He doesn 't chew anything else but toys so that is a positive feature about him.He doe shave a loud bark that would be good for someone who wanted a dog to alert them to the arrival of strangers but he has a very soft temperament so that is where is guard dog capabilities end. Still, his bark is loud so he would not be suited to apartment living. Chip is crate trained but is also great to leave free and will snuggle up on your bed if he is invited.Chip is very intelligent and would be a terrific dog to take to formal training classes as the sky is the limit with him. He is good with children but a bit rambunctious to be with very small children. HIs adoption fee is $375.
