Prince's Story...
Prince is a sweet 5 year old neutered Shih Tzu/Maltese cross who found that he needed a new home when his family moved to a condo where dogs weren't allowed to live.He is a happy healthy , loving little boy with no obvious behavioral issues although he does seem to want to spend lots of time with his family so he needs an adopter who has plenty of time to spend with him. He gets along well with other dogs and is timid with new humans but warms very quickly. He travels well in the car and is good with older children. He is a relatively young dog who is looking for a home with a family that can expect to offer him a stable home for the next 8-10 years. Prince's adoption fee is $375. If you are interested in exploring his adoption please contact Carol at cthorpe4494@rogers.com

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Prince, a Mississauga Shih Tzu/Maltese dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shih Tzu/Maltese for sale in Mississauga, or seeking a Shih Tzu/Maltese dog from a breeder in Mississauga.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Mississauga already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Mississauga breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shih Tzu/Maltese breeders who help with Shih Tzu/Maltese rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Mississauga paves the way for another one to be saved.
