  • Hair: Short
Alvin is about a year-and-a-half old. He was surrendered to Camp
Companion in March 2016 from his original family as they are moving and couldn't take him with. He was adopted in February of this year and we thought he had found his forever home. His current family recently contacted us to tell us he is moving and can't take Alvin with him either.

While we don't understand this, we are going to work hard to find Alvin his third and hopefully FOREVER home.

Alvin is a sweet boy with beautiful markings. Alvin is a little shy at first but warms up quickly. He is a very friendly boy and loves to play with whatever he can find. He loves people and can't get enough attention from his foster mom.

Perpetual motion best describes this him. He loves to be petted but can't sit still long enough to get much petting. He tends to flop at your feet and then gets up and flops again. He needs a home where can get lots of attention and ah home with patience as he settles in.

Alvin is good with other cats and would probably love a playmate. We feel he would be fine with cat friendly dogs after proper introduction.

All adoptable pets have been spayed/neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. For more information about adoption, please contact Camp Companion at 507-951-7801,, or find us on Facebook!

About Camp Companion

About Our Rescue Group...

Camp Companion is a 501c3 organization established in 2003.

Based in Rochester MN, the organization is totally driven by volunteers.

Camp Companion is dedicated to providing low-cost spay and neuter services for feral, farm and stray companion animals. The organization is funded solely by donations, fundraisers, grants, and adoption fees. All funds we receive are used for veterinary expenses and the cost of care incurred for the animals waiting for their forever homes.

Through our spay / neuter efforts, we encounter kittens and stray domestic cats that need rescue services and a forever home. We have no shelter, but rely on foster homes to care for these rescued pets. Every animal we offer for adoption is spayed or neutered.

Come Meet Our Pets...

Partnering with local pet stores, we have adoption day every Saturday in Rochester, Minnesota, rotating locations every week.

Please see our website at for the weekly location.
