==========================================================

Idgie is a 2 year old, Mantle female that is spayed, up-to-date on vaccinations, and microchipped. She is approximately 115 lbs.

Idgie will do best in a home with at least one other dog to keep her company and as a playmate. While she does well with females, her preference would be male dogs. Idgie is trustworthy around cats and kids of all ages. She does not do well in a doggy daycare environment so ideally she will need a home where she can get her exercise at home or on walks with her family.

Idgie's adoption fee is $400.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Idgie - COURTESY LISTING, a St. Louis Great Dane dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Great Dane for sale in St. Louis, or seeking a Great Dane dog from a breeder in St. Louis.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in St. Louis already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a St. Louis breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Great Dane breeders who help with Great Dane rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in St. Louis paves the way for another one to be saved.
