Doggie's Story...
Meet Doggie. Doggie is a matured gentlemen well past the high energy puppy years. The scarring in his fur indicates he came from a pretty rough past. Despite that, he's a sweet natured, calm fella with a lot of charm. It's hard to say what he's mixed with but we see some yellow lab in there and with what else is a question mark...but that doesn't take away from his sweet disposition. He enjoys going for walks, rolling in the grass, is good with other dogs and seems good with cats, too. We estimate his year of birth to be 2006-2007 and his weight 60 lbs. We're hoping Doggie will find a forever home who will love him and spoil him rotten. If interested, please contact RickyC68@aol.com

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Doggie, a Simsbury Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Simsbury, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Simsbury.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Simsbury already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Simsbury breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Simsbury paves the way for another one to be saved.
