Cooper's Story...
Welcome Cooper. This is a Petite Boxer. He has a full tail and looks to be a pure bred Boxer. He is great with other dogs and potty trained. He is good in a kennel and ready for his forever home. He is a little shy and acts like someone has kicked him before. He is not mean at ALL but a little tentative around walking feet. I think consistency and love will help him overcome this. He is HIGHLY ADOPTABLE and loves kisses on the nose and cuddled when you are sitting down. He is courteous, sits on the floor beside you and doesn't jump up. He is not too vocal and not a shedder. He is looking for his forever home and we would like an active family for him to join. Boxers are better with exercise so a family and a previous Boxer family would be a great fit. He is neutered, up on shots and microchipped. His adoption fee is 250 and transportation is $185. He is currently in Texas in a rural and not no kill facility. He is now in a foster home and ready for adoption. He can be delivered to PA, VA, CT, MD, NJ, NY and VT. Contact me for an application.

Act quickly to adopt Cooper. Pets at this Shelter may be held for only a short time.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cooper, a Pluckemin Boxer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer for sale in Pluckemin, or seeking a Boxer dog from a breeder in Pluckemin.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Pluckemin already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Pluckemin breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer breeders who help with Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Pluckemin paves the way for another one to be saved.
