Alvin's Info...

I am already neutered, purebred, up to date with shots, and good with dogs.

Alvin's Story...
Alvin. 2 year old Liver color shih tzu. Male. Up to date on vaccinations, neutered, microchipped. Adoption fee $300.00

We rescued Alvin recently. He is need of a good groom, but he is so cute inside and out! His foster mom shaved him down a bit as you can tell by a couple of the pictures because he was so covered in fleas and he had too much fur in front of his eyes! He is a sweet, fun and wonderful boy.

He's good with dogs and enjoys playing with them! *****One requirement for adoption of Alvin is that he has doggie playmate, since this is what makes him happiest! ******
He does love his people though and a home where he will not be left for long periods of time would be best.

Whoever adopts this little boy is going to be very lucky!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Alvin, a Indianapolis Shih Tzu dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shih Tzu for sale in Indianapolis, or seeking a Shih Tzu dog from a breeder in Indianapolis.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Indianapolis already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Indianapolis breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shih Tzu breeders who help with Shih Tzu rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Indianapolis paves the way for another one to be saved.
