Max's Story...
ADOPTION PENDING. No more quiries, please. Little Max is a Malti-poo who weighs 9.6 lbs and is just a little over 1 year old. He came from a home where he was left in a crate almost all day even when he accompanied his owner to her work site. When he came to rescue he was a shy little boy who needed his shots, neuter and also needed grooming. He has been in foster since late December and has easily adjusted to his temporary home, gets along with other dogs, adults and children and loves to exercise. He sleeps in his crate at night and occasionally goes into it some during the day just so he knows that is his safe and comfortable place. He will make a wonderful little companion. Deadline for adoption applications: 3/11/16. Application can be requested at safehavenky@gmail.com. Pls. contact his foster at 270-619-0741 for more information.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Max, a Princeton Maltese/Poodle (Toy or Tea Cup) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Maltese/Poodle (Toy or Tea Cup) for sale in Princeton, or seeking a Maltese/Poodle (Toy or Tea Cup) dog from a breeder in Princeton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Princeton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Princeton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Maltese/Poodle (Toy or Tea Cup) breeders who help with Maltese/Poodle (Toy or Tea Cup) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Princeton paves the way for another one to be saved.
