Here's what the humans have to say about me:

COPPER IS A SHIH-TZU/YORKIE MIX!
3/22/16 - Copper is considered a “non-precious” metal, but this Copper is precious in every way. He is sweet, loveable, outgoing, cuddly, playful, attentive, cute, smart...... and so on.
Copper came into rescue recently because his previous family life was getting crowded with added little ones. They loved him, but other priorities were not allowing time for what Copper needed.
This baby doesn’t meet a stranger. He loves all people and his tail is constantly wagging. He loves for you to talk to him and he cocks his head in ways that make you think he totally understands what you are saying. He loves to be held and give kisses. He will take every toy out of the toy basket and play with them to let you know he appreciates every one you buy for him. He eats great, is good during a bath and blow dry and sleeps great in bed with his people all night right up against them. He would love another dog his size to play with, but will settle for a human and toys if he has to. This little man pretty much has it all.
He was just recently neutered so sometimes will mark, but is getting better with potty issues. He will go outside each time he is brought, but doesn’t seem to get the hang of the potty pads, so he will need to be in a home that understands that this is a work in progress and he doesn’t need to be left long hours because he has a small bladder.
He is so eager to please and be loved and you can simply see it in his eyes that he wants to be someone’s precious Copper. This one is a no-brainer. Adopt a dog, get a life-long companion and a friend who will never let you down.
