Calypso's Info...

Calypso's Story...
Tortitude best describes this torti cat. Se is gorgeous and knows it. She is VERY outgoing and has a more dominant personality when it comes to other animals. She rules the roost. She is great with large dogs but will torment anything under 20lbs. Good with other cats UNLESS they are shy or very laid back. She picks and chooses what humans she does and does not like and if she likes you she is the sweetest lap cat. She does well with children over the age of 10. She is the typical torti cat and not for a first time or inexperienced cat owner. She is showing at the Petco in Solon. There is a saying we in rescue use and that is cats pick their owners the question with this one is will she pick you?

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Calypso, a Northfield Domestic Longhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Longhair for sale in Northfield, or seeking a Domestic Longhair cat from a breeder in Northfield.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Northfield already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Northfield breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Longhair breeders who help with Domestic Longhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Northfield paves the way for another one to be saved.
