My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

MARKO HAS BEEN ADOPTED!!Marko is a handsome, goofy and playful 12 month old Aussie/Lab mix. Marko was adopted from a shelter in southern IL with two of his littermates (also available for adoption/foster) when they were just 8 weeks old. The family had lots of land and thought they could handle all three of the pups and adopted one pup for each child. Well, the pups are almost grown now and the children have lost interest so all three were returned back to the open intake pound they were adopted from. Marko's mother was an Australian Shepherd/Lab mix, the father is unknown. Marko is a larger dog already and we are expecting him to be 80+ pounds when fully grown. He is a very social dog and like most of his breed type, he'll thrive in an active and fun-loving home. He is currently awaiting rescue/adoption from an over burdened pound in southern IL. Pal's Place works closely with them to help place their dogs into forever homes. We have only observed him in a kennel environment so we cannot say for sure if he's housetrained, adopters/fosters must be willing to potentially take on this task. We would love to help him out, but all of our foster homes are filled. Pal's Place has no shelter facility and relies entirely on foster homes and paid boarding. We can only save as many dogs as we have adoptive or foster homes for! If interest is shown in him, Marko can be transported to Chicago. He will be fully vetted and prepared for adoption or a foster home. If seriously interested in possibly adopting or fostering (fosters must be in or very near Chicago) this deserving guy, please email Palsplace1@hotmail.com**PLEASE NOTE: IF INTERESTED IN FOSTERING YOU MUST BE IN CHICAGO OR IN A NEIGHBORING SUBURB**

•Marko's adoption donation is $275. This donation helps to cover his neuter, initial vaccines, initial worming and microchip. Pal's Place relies solely on donations to care for the pets in our care. Your donation also helps save other animals like Marko from euthanasia.

• Please email Palsplace1@hotmail.com for an adoption application and please put the name of the dog in the subject line. Please be sure to check your spam/junk folder; sometimes the applications end up in there!

• All of our dogs are in foster homes are can be seen BY APPOINTMENT ONLY, after an approved application has been received. To receive more info please email palsplace1@hotmail.com. Email is the preferred method of contact and is the quickest way to receive a response. We cannot place holds on our dogs, please do not contact us until you are prepared to adopt.
