My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Jack is a gorgeous, black and tan, male German Shepherd. He is approximately 1-2 years old and weighs 88 pounds. He is good with kids, other dogs and cats. He has a medium energy level and is crate-trained and housebroken. Jack tested positive for heartworms when at the time we pulled him from Metro Animal Care and Control in Nashville, TN and is receiving Immiticide injections.
All dogs adopted from Middle Tennessee German Shepherd Rescue are spayed/neutered, current on all vaccinations and microchipped and our adoption fee is $250. For more information or to request an adoption application, please email us at adoption.mtgsr@gmail.com
PLEASE NOTE: Our philosophy is “Rescue locally, place locally” which means we primarily pull dogs from shelters in the Nashville area AND we prefer to place our dogs in homes within a one-hour drive of Nashville. If you are outside of the Nashville area, please consider adopting a homeless dog in your local community.
