Gunner's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and not good with cats.

Gunner's Story...
GUNNER is a beagle/ JRT mix, about 20 pounds. Cute as a button with lots of personality. He is energetic and needs exercise every day; also needs work on learning not to pull on leash. He enjoys other dogs, but would probably do best with younger ones. An older dog might not enjoy his energy. He is great with kids. NOT cats. He loves to snuggle. GUNNER'S ideal home would be one where someone is there a good part of the day -- retirees, stay at home parent, professional who works at home. He really doesn't like to be alone. GUNNER is 2 years old, neutered, and up to date on shots. He is currently living in a foster home in Media, Pa, but we would love to find him a forever home soon. Please contact Patti at psquare828@comcast.net for more information and an application.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Gunner, a Media Beagle/Jack Russell Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle/Jack Russell Terrier for sale in Media, or seeking a Beagle/Jack Russell Terrier dog from a breeder in Media.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Media already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Media breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle/Jack Russell Terrier breeders who help with Beagle/Jack Russell Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Media paves the way for another one to be saved.
