Chester's Story...

Mild-mannered as Clark Kent and handsome as Superman, sweet Chester is the king of chillin’ out and the perfect companion for whiling away a sunny afternoon. Does he enjoy snuggles? Oooh, yes he does! Will he sit on command like a gentleman? Of course! Is he thrilled to meet new doggie friends? You betcha he is! Chester’s always eager to explore, and he sniffs and spots wildlife like a true hound dog, though his furry neck ruff suggests more exotic forebears. Whatever combination of breeds went into this gorgeous guy the result is 100 percent Sweetheart, and now he’s got the stellar behavior evaluation to prove it. If soft, easy-going good boys are your cup of tea, then Chester would love to make it tea for two (or the whole family!), just ask for him by name.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Chester, a Ridgefield American Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Ridgefield, or seeking a American Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Ridgefield.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Ridgefield already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Ridgefield breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with American Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Ridgefield paves the way for another one to be saved.
