Lyla is a funny, sweet, and smart mixed breed dog. At approximately 2-1/2 years-old, she has already learned a wide range of cues: sit, down, wait, quiet, paw and walks nicely on leash using her Easy Walk harness. She is also comfortable in her crate and rests nicely there, especially if given an enrichment toy to enjoy.
While Lyla is an exuberant and fun dog, she is low to medium energy and does best with a short walk or two, play time in the backyard and most important – time spent with her people. Lyla loves the company of her foster family and the friends she has made during her time in foster care. She loves to snuggle, making her a great companion when catching up on your favorite shows or reading a book.
When meeting new people or in new situations, Lyla can be nervous. She has worked hard to learn the necessary skills to overcome her fears and build her confidence. She improves everyday. Everyone who knows Lyla is impressed with her progress.
Lyla is a happy dog and her joyful attitude is infectious. Want to laugh everyday in the company of a dog that adores you? Apply to adopt Lyla today!
Please Note: Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable so for most of our rescue dogs we are only guessing at the predominant breed or breed mix. We think that it’s more important to get to know each dog as an individual and we will do our best to describe each of our rescue dogs based on personality, not by breed label.
Dog (7-months of age and older) Adoption Fees are $275, which includes spay/neuter surgery, microchip, up-to-date on all age appropriate vaccines, deworming, fecal testing, 4DX Heartworm & Lymes testing, up-to-date on monthly heartworm preventative and flea/tick treatment, and certificate of veterinary inspection.
