My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This stunning boy is DIESEL. He is a 3 and a half year old Black Lab/Shep mix. Originally adopted from the Jefferson County Animal Shelter as a puppy, DIESEL has been surrendered to our pound by his family. They worked long hours and felt it was unfair to keep DIESEL kenneled for such extended periods of time. DIESEL loves kids (lived with a 6 year old), gets along with other dogs, plays roughly with cats, but has never hurt them. He likes to sleep in bed whether you are in it or not. DIESEL is fully vetted (up to date on vaccines and neutered). He is housebroken and would make a wonderful addition to your family. His former owner did say that one time, when DIESEL was asked to get off the bed and wouldn't comply, his owner reached to grab him by the collar and DIESEL nipped at him. HARRISON COUNTY DOG POUND, 28900 Toot Road Cadiz, Ohio 43907, (740) 942-4080. $35.00 adoption fee which includes the dog license tag for the year. Effective June 1, 2015: Hours: Monday - Friday 10AM-4PM; Saturday 9AM-2PM; Sundays and holidays CLOSED.
