CARSON, who also is known as COCOA is a 5 year old Chesapeake Bay Retriever who is in need of forever love at our pound. This boy is one of the most playful and fun loving dogs we have ever met. He was found as a stray but we have been able to locate his original owner. Sadly, this poor guy has been passed around so many times, she has no idea who currently owned him. CARSON was originally trained in some search and rescue tasks. He loves kids and toys and will fetch anything you toss for him and bring it back to you to do it again...and again...and again. He has loads of exuberance and personality, and needs a family who is active to keep him busy. This guy is not your classic couch potato. CARSON has always lived as an outside dog so we have had him neutered and vaccinated so that he can enter the cell dog training program at our local prison to learn housebreaking and basic obedience skills in order for him to be a family member who lives in the house with his family the way he deserves.
