My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hamilton was picked up as a stray and taken to an overwhelmed shelter. He won over many of the staff's hearts. ReFURbished Canine Rescue was happy to take him into our program. He was taken to NC Veterinary College where he was neutered and tested for heart-worms. Unfortunately, he tested positive but the vet school agreed to treat him. Hamilton has completed heart-worm treatment with flying colors. Friendly and sweet, he loves all humans. Hamilton gets along well with dogs of all sizes. He has not been around cats so unsure how he is with them. He likes playing tug, and will play tag with his foster buddy. He is happy to sit beside you or at your feet.
Hamilton is fully vaccinated, neutered, on flea/tick and heart-worm preventatives. Weighing in at 13lbs he is measure 10 inches at the shoulder. The Vet school aged him between 2 and 3 years old. He is crate trained, quiet and very loving. Can he be your cuddle buddy? He is an excellent companion.
