Evelyn's Story...
Evalyn was clearly once someone's cat - but ended up abandoned and dumped at a dairy barn. She was taken in by a caring lady there - but she was sufficiently interested in getting attention and love that she'd would waltz into the room and ignore the multiple Irish Wolfhounds there. Worried that the wolfhounds would decide to eat the cat, she made arrangements for her current foster mother to take her over.

She's a very affectionate cat and loves to be pet and loves to snuggle. She acclimates quickly to dogs and is learning to accept the other cats and get along with them as well. She's about 7 - 8 years old.

Please help her find a real forever home this time.

Evelyn, a Santa Rosa Domestic Longhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Longhair for sale in Santa Rosa, or seeking a Domestic Longhair cat from a breeder in Santa Rosa.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Santa Rosa already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Santa Rosa breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Longhair breeders who help with Domestic Longhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Santa Rosa paves the way for another one to be saved.
