Tulip's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Tulip's Story...
Tulip is a 6 year old spayed female rat terrier cross. She really is beautiful, and very elegant. Tulip had a hard start in life. She had untreated glaucoma and is now blind and requires daily drops. She has learned to get around quite well and with her loving disposition, she would make a great companion for someone who is not away often. Tulip is smart, and can quickly learn anything. She loves her people fiercely, and is loyal to the core. Tulip would love a secure fenced backyard, or trips to the dog park, or just taking a nice stroll with her person. But she is also quite content to lay at your side in the evening. Tulip would make an excellent family dog.

Tulip is up to date on shots, she is heart worm negative, and is taking heart worm and flea preventative. The adoption fee is $150. For more information or to meet this pet and see others that are available call Barbara at 561-755-3118.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tulip, a Brooksville Rat Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Rat Terrier for sale in Brooksville, or seeking a Rat Terrier dog from a breeder in Brooksville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Brooksville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Brooksville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Rat Terrier breeders who help with Rat Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Brooksville paves the way for another one to be saved.
