I am a special needs pet and up to date with shots.

Miko's Story...
Miko is a SUPER sweet girl. She is very petite and will most likely be very small her whole life. Miko is postive for feline leukemia (FeLV) and can NOT live with other cats unless they are also positive. Miko MUST be an indoor cat. She can not go outdoors. FeLV compromises her immune system and she must remain indoors to lower her risk of other viruses making her sick. Miko will need to see a vet regularly her entire life to ensure she is doing well. Please be prepared to do so if you are interested in Miko. We will complete a home check and check your vet references (as we do with all applications) before we approve any applications for Miko.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Miko, a Prince George Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Prince George, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Prince George.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Prince George already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Prince George breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Prince George paves the way for another one to be saved.
