Hi there, my name is Bubbles and I'm available for adoption. I am a young, gorgeous, shorthaired tortie who will steal your heart. I am a friendly little sweetheart. I love people and I have a super cool personality. I am about 1-2 years old and I'm being spayed soon. I am a healthy and happy. I love to catnap in the soft bed. I enjoy playing with toys, but more than anything I love people, even strangers. I will rub up against you. I enjoy pets and ear scratches the most. I love to be brushed and petted. They say that I am a "kitty of leisure," laid back, mellow and relaxed. I am an expert lounger and can get comfortable just about anywhere. If properly introduced, I get along well with other animals. I use the litter box like a good girl and just have an all-around wonderful disposition. Saturday, March 19: Adoption Event at Petco, 29335 Orchard Lake Rd, Farmington Hills (just south of 13 Mile Rd). From noon to 4 p.m., come meet adoptable dogs, cats, puppies and kittens (as available - not all adoptable animals will be at every event). Adoption event dates for 2016: March 19, April 2, April 16, May 7, May 21, June 4, June 18, July 2, July 16, August 6, August 20, September 3, September 17, October 1, October 15, November 5, November 19, December 3 and December 17.
Sunday, April 24: Adoption Event at PetPeople, 6520 Telegraph Rd, Bloomfield Hills. From noon to 4 p.m., come meet adoptable dogs, cats, puppies and kittens (as available - not all adoptable animals will be at every event) on the last Sunday of every month. Event dates for 2016: (no event in March due to holiday), April 24, May 22, June 26, July 24, August 28, September 25, October 23, November 27 and December 18.
Adoption Process: Complete the application at
www.pawsforliferescue.org. We then arrange a location, date and time for you to meet some pets. If the meeting goes well and everyone is happy, you begin the mandatory, minimum two-week adjustment period with the pet as part of your family. You will pay the non-refundable adoption fee at the start of the two-week adjustment period. This pending period allows your new dog or cat time to adjust to their new home, new people, new routine, etc., and for you to decide if it's a match and the right pet for you. At the end of two weeks (some people extend the adjustment time as needed and that's fine too), if everyone is happy, then we finalize the adoption. Feel free to email if you have any questions.
