This special little guy has had a tough journey to get the chance to stand in the doorway of a rescue that can network him to secure a forever home.  Sadly, so many precious dogs do not have that chance.  Skeeter is blessed with a one in a million chance and he is ready to take that ticket and RUN!  This little guy is a 3 year old, 16 pound, Dachshund mix male that is just the most delightful being.  He is happy and cheerful and accepting of whatever comes his way.  Skeeter is spunky and just makes you smile when you meet him.  He is working on being 100% housetrained and is learning how to walk like a gentleman on a leash.  He is good with all other creatures in life but we don’t want to recommend cats as the Dachshund breed is notorious for chasing cats.  You can just see the anticipation and intelligence in his eyes as he gets ready to embrace all the good things that will soon come his way, and just because he became a Critter Cavalry Rescue rescued dog.  PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.com

About Critter Cavalry Rescue New England - CT

About Our Rescue Group...

We are a dedicated group of rescue volunteers who desire to find loving homes for animals who have been placed in shelters and are in grave danger of euthanasia. Our heart's desire is to provide you with a loving companion for many years to come.

Come Meet Our Pets...

We are a full volunteer rescue organization. All of our animals are kept in loving foster homes, receiving the best care possible. A completed application must be submitted and approved to meet with our dogs/pups. A completed application helps us determine compatibility and also helps us to ensure a successful adoption.

Our Adoption Process...

Most all our dogs are fostered in Tennessee and transport up to the Northeast or New England. Our fees start at $500 and can be higher depending on the dog and circumstances for their vetting. All fees cover the health certificate, transportation up to designated places for families to pick up their pre-adopted dog, spay/neuter, rabies, all shots, fecal and dewormings, microchip, complete vet check up and 4 way heartworm test if dogs are older than 8 months.
