Sally is a 5 yr old, 10 pound Chihuahua that will love you to the moon and back!  Once she gets to know you, that is!

She is standoffish at first and may even look like, don't you touch me, but she bonds quickly when she is shown some love and affection.  We are not sure what her life was like before we got Sally, so we are suggesting caution with children because of her reluctance to meet new people.

She will chase cats and nip at them, but a dog savvy cat will be able to quickly put her in her place!  She does get along okay with other dogs, but she is protective of her food and I think she would really prefer to be an only dog.

Sally will want to be with you, give you kisses, and look deep into your eyes with her beautiful deep brown eyes.

Don't let her initial reluctance put you off, she is a total love bug once she decides you are okay!

A secure yard would be nice because she does like to explore.  An active person would be great because Sally can run like he wind and thinks she can leap tall buildings!

If you would like to meet Sally, please contact her foster mom at vendetta@nutsnboltsanimaladvocates.org.  Her adoption fee is $150; she is spayed, microchipped, uptodate on shots, flea treatment and deworming.

About Nuts'n Bolts Animal Advocates

About Our Rescue Group...

Nuts'n Bolts Animal Advocates is a 501c3, ID #45-2490926, dedicated to preventing at risk animals from entering the shelter system. We encourage pet retention through education and by providing low cost or free spay and neuter, simple pet enclosure repairs, and food in emergencies. Our shelters have 1000s of animals impounded every year. To reach no kill, we must keep animals OUT of shelters. The fewer animals in a shelter, the better chances they have of finding a home.

Come Meet Our Pets...

All of our animals are in foster care and seen by appointment only.

Our Adoption Process...

Our adoption fee include current vaccinations, microchip, flea control, and alteration. We do have an application process and an adoption contract. We request references for all applications. Depending on the breed of dog, we may require a home visit. Adopters either need to provide proof that they own their home or, if they are renters, proof from their landlord that they may have a pet. Adoption is for life and we try to make the best match possible, it is not first come, first served. Adoption fees for cats will vary depending on age, sex, etc. Cats follows the same adoption application and contract as dogs.
