Here's what the humans have to say about me:
“That's what it means to be an American. To be free to love who and what you want, and to keep a lot in your heart at once.” Neela Vaswani
There are two things that every rescuer and rescued pup cherish....the ride to freedom when pulled from the shelter and love-lots and lots of love. Meet our sweet Neela! Neela is a one year old tan and white hound mix weighing 40 lbs. This adorably happy pooch has all the love in the world to offer and accept. Her first year of life is a mystery, we can only guess the kind of life she endured in order to survive but that's all in the past now. She now knows that the safety, security, and acceptance of good people and a loving home really does exist! She has experienced the joys of being inside a warm house and sleeping on a comfortable bed.... heaven on Earth. Neela has adjusted wonderfully to the good life. She is already crate trained and house trained. She is a happy go lucky girl who is pleased to meet everyone. Her foster mom proudly describes her as a wonderful girl who is great with other dogs, cats, and kids. She walks very well on leash and truly enjoys her daily walks with her people. Neela has proven herself to be an awesome student. She is eager to please and learn new things. Impressively she has already mastered several commands such as sit and down (stay? maybe later?). Our sweet Neela is already spayed, up to date on all vaccinations, and current on preventatives. Neela is one of those pups who loves to love and be loved on. Her new family and home should be prepared to be lavished with an abundance of kisses, hugs, and affection. She will never judge or critique your movie choices, she's there for the cuddles (and maybe a bit of popcorn). Neela will never tell you how to drive, she's along for the ride and the company. Most important of all....Neela will never abandon you, she's been down that road herself. Neela is ready for the true American dream...a forever family and home all her own
