Geo's Story...
Geo
5 months - male
Longhair Black and White

Look how cute I am….such a fluffy little fellow so soft and sweet. I love being brushed and spoken to in a soft, reassuring voice. My favorite toy is the ball in a circle. I love pouncing on that trying to get the ball. I’m trying so hard not to be shy around people. When I feel safe on the top shelf of a cat tree or in a small room where I can’t hide, I purr and enjoy pets and kisses. I don’t like being picked up…I’m not sure why. I would prefer coming to you when I feel ready. My foster mom says the best home for me would be as a companion to another cat or cats. The ideal arrangement would be if I could be paired with a friendly, outgoing kitten about my age that can show me the way. I just need a tetch more confidence and trust.

My brother Gino and I were rescued from a Lansdale backyard. Our momma was feral and when she was spayed and vaccinated she went back to the yard. Our foster mom decided to keep Gino and me and work to make us feel comfortable as pet kitties. We’re almost there. Now we just need someone to give each of us a chance at a secure, happy and permanent home.

Geo is fully vetted and microchipped. You can meet him at Petsmart Collegeville.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Geo, a Colmar Domestic Longhair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Longhair for sale in Colmar, or seeking a Domestic Longhair kitten from a breeder in Colmar.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Colmar already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Colmar breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Longhair breeders who help with Domestic Longhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Colmar paves the way for another one to be saved.
