My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Shorty is a white/tan Chihuahua mix who weighs 9 lbs. and is about 14 months old. He is such a cutie. He actually prances when he walks. He is good with kids and cats. He's good on the leash and is learning to use a doggie door. He is housetrained as long as he has access to the outdoors 3 or 4 times a day. He is sharing a foster home with three dogs and gets along so well with them; no jealousy or squabbles. He likes his crate and will go into it during the day just to chill. He is interested in cats but not in an aggressive way. He's more interested and excited by them. We think he'd be fine with kids 5 years old and up as he isn't skittish or nervous. Shorty is very independent, not clingy, and can entertain himself, although he is timid on the leash. This guy is a real character! He barks at himself in the window at night and he loves his crate. He is having a little bit of a hard time with stairs. Shorty is a darling boy who is looking for his forever home.
