Paislee's Story...
This adorable litter (Panda, Panther, Picasso, Paris, and Paislee) was dumped in the country. But lucky for these little babies, a nice man picked them up and surrendered them to us! We are guessing they are lab/schnauzer mixes. They are around 12 weeks old and approximately 10 pounds each. They are all very friendly, love to play with toys and other dogs, and cuddle with people. They are in foster care with other dogs and children in West TN. They will be transported once their adoptions are finalized. If you are interested in adding one of these pups to your family, please go to www.goofyfootrescue.org to complete an application.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Paislee, a Southington Labrador Retriever/Standard Schnauzer puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Standard Schnauzer for sale in Southington, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Standard Schnauzer puppy from a breeder in Southington.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Southington already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Southington breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Standard Schnauzer breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Standard Schnauzer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Southington paves the way for another one to be saved.
