Donald's Story...
Donald is a lovable older guy that is looking for family to call his own and hang out with. His foster home loves him dearly as he is very easy and gets along with everything but he had a tumor removed from behind his left front leg and generally cannot handle all the stairs they have in their home. He is about 8, had his tumor removed and we are hoping it doesn't come back. If you have room in your home for a calmer, older guy that just wants to hang out with your family then fill out an application for Donald.
Alsip To The Rescue (ATTR) strives as a rescue to make sure that when our adopters take home their new rescue they feel they have the support and access to all resources which ATTR can provide. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Donald, a Frankfort Nova Scotia Duck-Tolling Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Nova Scotia Duck-Tolling Retriever for sale in Frankfort, or seeking a Nova Scotia Duck-Tolling Retriever dog from a breeder in Frankfort.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Frankfort already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Frankfort breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Nova Scotia Duck-Tolling Retriever breeders who help with Nova Scotia Duck-Tolling Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Frankfort paves the way for another one to be saved.
