Hi I go by Bubba and I was found roaming as a stray not too long after hunting season. My rescuers think I was probably an outside dog my entire life up until now. I hear that's not going to happen ever again. I'm very sweet and willing to please but I'm still getting used to this whole I'm allowed inside and people petting me thing! As soon as I figure out what someone wants me to do, I'm very happy to oblige, I just need someone to teach me the ropes. I can be a little bashful but I've learned very quickly I like all this new attention I'm getting. The rescue volunteers like to laugh at me because even when I'm being bashful or shy I still am so happy that I wag my entire body, not just my tail! I get along great with other dogs and love to gently play and wrestle around. I have been crated during the day and am doing perfect! ESP has been crating me if nobody is with me to help aid in teaching me potty training skills. Being on a good schedule, I won't potty in my crate and have been going outside but haven't been left out alone just yet but as soon as I get it down crating me should not be necessary. I was most likely an outdoor dog so it isn't so much that I can't learn all these things, just that someone has to teach me! I'm really hoping for this thing they call a "family" soon, I already am in a much better place than I once was but the the perfect happy ending to my story will be having a human or two to love me as their own.
