Rocco's Story...
Rocco is a sweet and mellow little guy, weighing 9 pounds full grown. Rocco’s hair was dirty and matted so he is sporting a short hair cut. His all white coat of hair is soft, wavy, non shedding. He has a friendly, adaptable manner and well behaved. Rocco does need help with house training and basic commands. He is likes people and really wants a forever family with time to train and love him. He accepts everyone with his usual slow tail wagging and gentle disposition. Rocco is young, adaptable to his environment and can be a great, all around family dog. He's an awesome dog for having such rough start to life. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rocco, a San Diego Maltese dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Maltese for sale in San Diego, or seeking a Maltese dog from a breeder in San Diego.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in San Diego already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a San Diego breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Maltese breeders who help with Maltese rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in San Diego paves the way for another one to be saved.
