Carmelita is a very special kitty. She's a senior girl, barely bigger than a kitten. She's not completely comfortable with people yet, but she wants to be. She's so curious about everything. When you enter the room, she comes running. Then she follows you around, watching your every move. She loves it when you sit still and just talk to her, watching your face intently, her body relaxing a bit. If you have treats for her, she's especially happy.
Carmelita had a rough life and is still recovering. She's putting on some weight, growing back her hair, and getting used to all of the new things. But she's so desperate to learn about her new world. If you have a little time and patience to offer, she'll be a very special girl in your life.
