Meet Zoey Zu!
Zoey is a spunky Pit Bull mix. She is a great size, just under 50 lbs and is around 3 years old. Zoey found her way to the local shelter after her previous family could no longer care for her. Zoey was vetted and had a few minor issues (ear infections and UTI) and was also discovered to test positive for heartworms. Zoey had her final injection to treat her heartworms in May 2016 and is now completely healthy.
Zoey is house trained and crate trained. She is not destructive in her crate and will often go in there to sleep.
Zoey gets along well with the four other dogs in her foster home. She likes to rough-house with her larger foster brother. She LOVES to cuddle with her humans.
She resides with two toddlers - while she enjoys kids, she may do better with older kids as she sometimes doesn't recognize her own size. She would do best in a yard with a taller fence as she can likely jump a four foot fence.
Zoey does know "sit" and "crate". She is very treat and toy motivated and loves to play with her stuffed toys. :)
She is working on her leash manners, but does great with a gentle leader. She loves to go for walks and with continued work, will make someone a great walking/hiking/running partner.
If you are looking for a sweet, playful gal to join your family, consider giving Zoey Zu a chance.
